One listener's aha moment from yesterday's show

One listener had a Eureka! moment after hearing about cannabis and Neuropathy on yesterday's show. She'd quit toking on-and-off in the last year or so, but hadn't connected it with the return of the nerve pain in her legs until she heard it on Cannabis Consciousness. She sent a link to this newscast that tells more about the neuropathy study:

She writes: I had a Eureka experience today listening to my friend's show, cannabis consciousness on KMUD. Harold Day read something about smoking cannabis for neuropathic pain. Last Christmas I when hurt my back in Florida that gave me nerve pains in my legs, I didn't smoke. Then when I got back, I kept on not smoking because I wanted to be clear for awhile. I didn't smoke for 6 months. Then I started again and it seemed my nerve pains went away. But I can't remember what came first. This Sept. I went to PA, and didn't smoke. And haven't smoked since I got back, so it's been nearly 2 months since I smoked. I'm having the pain again, but chalked it up to that I worked real hard harvesting when I got back and probably irritated my nerves from pressure on my back. Now I'm having it in my hands, and numbness too. So when Harold read that, I googled it and found the video below. I guess I should smoke again and see if it helps. Wouldn't that be wow? They say smoked it works better than oral meds - I assume that includes gabapentin.. 

November Cannabis Consciousness show

I really enjoyed producing this 2nd episode. Harold Day helped read the news, and Kevin Jodrey gave lots of great information about dealing with mold, and things to remember about drying, curing, and storing. Then Donna King from 707 Cannabis College talked about why she's a member of the cannabis division of the UFCW Local 5 union. Dan Rush, the president of the cannabis division, called in and talked about the union office up in Eureka and why folks should stop in to learn more about how the union can support the medical marijuana industry.
